"Aimless" is awarded the Ohio Film Tax Credit.. We are in the Columbus Dispatch!

Our feature film, Aimless, is a psychological mystery about a clinical psychologist who takes on a teen client traumatized from episodes of sleep paralysis, but the more she works with him, she discovers who is behind the spiritual entities invading his dreams.

12 Stones Productions is raising $200,000 to begin Production through tax-deductible donations.

Sleep Paralysis is a phenomenon that has been around for ages and its cause and paranormal experience continues to be a mystery. The film Aimless creatively touches on this subject matter in a thought-provoking way. This film explores the themes of spirituality, the origin of good and evil and the meaning of life.

This is the debut feature film from the team at 12 Stones Productions, a production company that creates thought-provoking and entertaining films in Columbus, OH. Their films have received over 10 nominations in the last 2 years at the WinterFilm Festival in Cincinnati. 12 Stones Productions is led by award winning Writer/Director Cyrus Richardson as well as award-winning crew members. The team is committed to producing a high-quality film that is both visually stunning and emotionally engaging.

Independent films like this rely on community support, and they need you to bring Aimless to life. They are fundraising through the fiscal sponsor From the Heart Productions, making your donation tax-deductible.

They are currently in pre-production, scouting locations, casting and building out their team and plan to shoot in Summer of 2024. The feature Film Aimless is supported and was given a grant by the Greater Columbus Arts Council. Aimless also has support from Ohio Media School and OHD Studios.

As of March 30th, 2024, they have raised $120,000 of $200,000!
The Deadline to Donate is April 30th 2024.

Cyrus L. Richardson (Producer/Writer/Director)

Cyrus is an award-winning screenwriter. He has a B.A. degree in Psychology; minor in Communications, and he recently graduated from Ohio Media School under the Film Emphasis Program. He was awarded the Rising Star Award from the school. His last project “what are the odds?” had 7 nominations at the Cincinnati Winterfilm Festival with a Best Art Direction nomination. His project “Detention” had 4 nominations in the same festival in 2022.
